We provide education, training, peer learning and technical support to groups establishing and developing cooperatives

Cooperation Africa connects individuals and groups to training opportunities for starting and building cooperatives. We promote peer learning and experience sharing (including by internet) and facilitate mentoring, internships and partnerships with other cooperatives at local, national, regional and international level. We provide educational and practical programmes in cooperative history, legislation, formation and governance.

While providing technical support for all activities relevant to developing the knowledge, skills and practices of cooperative enterprise, we also help groups to improve basic and advanced skills in cooperative business management and governance. We cover financing, operations, business planning, taxation and human resource management according to levels of experience and particular needs, and according to the specific nature of their cooperative enterprise, whether procurement, marketing, supplier, consumer or producer cooperatives.
